  • Obtain certification from The ESG Institute, headquartered in Singapore.
  • Receive a copy of Greensight, The Sustainability Guide for Company Directors.

The Journey Has Began

Our Mission

With rapidly changing ecosystems (both economic and environmental) and some of the greatest challenges humankind has ever faced, the ESG Institute will purposely contribute to and accelerate the transition toward sustainability in what will soon be the 5th largest economy in the world (ASEAN), by supporting businesses around the world in their sustainability journeys.

The ESG Institute is propitiously based in the world-class hub country of Singapore. With unanimous recognition of its outstanding governance, its concerted action though the Singapore Green Plan, and the recent signing of the Singapore-Australia Green Economy Agreement, Singapore’s emergence as a key global leader on sustainability made it an obvious choice for the ESG Institute headquarters.

Furthermore, at its official launch in February 2023, the ESG Institute was honoured to have the Singaporean Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment, Dr. Amy Khor Lean Suan (许连碹).

Respecting the increasing global pressure for compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations, the ESG Institute works on advancing the transition to a net-zero economy while also advocating for equity and justice in social and governance contexts. The Institute focuses on simplifying the complexity of sustainability standards, creating alignment and action for businesses across their international value chains, and providing tools that support business leadership in this crucial transformation.

The ESG Institute integrates science-based insights with business pragmatics, leveraging research initially conducted at HEC Paris (the Harvard of France) and the University of Oxford, to empower leaders and help them report, benchmark, and advance their sustainability goals swiftly and effectively.
